Saharri is my Sanctuary
Saharri is my sanctuary, a place where my heart and soul reside alongside my beloved Arabian horses and the sacred land we call home. It’s a beautiful place where the earth seems untouched by man and nature calls out to all creatures great and small. As the sun rises, it warms the earth with its golden rays of love and the wildlife sings their songs of glory and delight for a new day.
I walk towards my horses and greet each and every one of them as they greet me with a winnie and those big, gorgeous eyes that stare at me in awe. I see a sparkle that comes from within their soul, reaching out to mine, and the beautiful connection fills my heart with so much love and gratitude for how blessed I am.
The magic of the universe shows itself through the turning of time, and there is a peace within the stillness of the quietness. Here, you feel the magic. The sound of the trees rustling with the breeze, and I hear a call from faraway traveling through time to where I hear the sound of sands of time blowing in the wind, uncovering the ancient calls of the desert sands.
Looking up towards the sky, I see eagles soaring, feeling the presence of the divine spirit, the creator. I am quick to feel all that is around me and the presence of that spirit. Then I look out to my horses and see all that I have experienced in my senses, their spirit that holds 2000 years of wisdom deep within their very soul, a time when the holy man once walked the earth in the land where they were birthed.
The love I feel for these beautiful horses and the love they give is so much more than words can explain. My heart and soul belong with my horses. All I have to do is look into their eyes to know the true meaning of life. There is only one force that is so pure in spirit that is love, love that opens your heart and soul to another and the beauty of the Arabian horse.
The Arabian horse is a gift from God, a companion that I treasure as a sacred animal. I understand that they are not here for a lifetime, and one day I will have to give them back. But until that day, I take the knowledge that each of my horses has taught me, be it in my life or my spirit. We all speak the same language – the language of love.
The way they move through this earth is silent and graceful, with a joy in their hearts. Their eyes tell me how much they understand when we take the time to be in the present moment with them. I owe my life to my beautiful horses, who have shared so much with me – the joys and the tears, the highs and lows.
We have stormed the show ring with great success, but that is not the real truth of what the Arabian horse means to me. They are a friend who takes me away from everyday life to a sacred and mystical place. I am captivated by their beauty and gentleness, feeling their breath, their spirit, and the joy of being in their presence.
I am blessed and honored to share my life and soul with these sacred creatures. With them, my spirit takes flight, and this is a place where my heart calls home. They are a part of my heart and soul, and within my spirit, we are one. We are all one in love with the Arabian horse. ❤️
